Marshams offers our customers quality service and excellent value, why not try our all makes, low cost servicing facility, conveniently located at the garage in upper Stone Street, Maidstone, our service reception desk is situated within our showroom, in a pleasant customer friendly environment.
Our new service department has now been open just over a year, and as more of our customers have asked to keep the care of their cars in-house with Marshams we have improved our facilities accordingly.
We have structured the service department to provide optimum value to you for all standard servicing requirements including tyres, exhausts, braking systems, and our new air conditioning re-gassing and leak analysis equipment. We will be pleased to quote for your next scheduled service, or any alternate maintenance work due to your car.
We also offer the facility of while ‘u’ wait servicing for your convenience on routine service operations, or the use of a loan vehicle if required (subject to availability/eligibility) simply call our service desk to check dates and book your car in.

Service - Book Online
Our service prices start as low as £49, giving you a major saving over your main agent. Our service technicians service your car exactly to the same schedule as the manufacture recommended service for the age and mileage of your car. If however you wish to have a budget service we will recommend to you which items are essential to maintain the warranty of your car whilst still saving you money.
MOT - Book Online
The ministry of transport test (MOT) is an annual test of your cars road worthiness and safety. It is a legal requirement on all cars over three years old.
Our mot testers have years of experience and have passed hundreds of cars.
We can save you money if you combine your MOT and service together, we also offer MOT test cover can also pay up to £ 500inc VAT of repairs on all covered items (terms and conditions apply)
Clutch - Book Online
At Marshams we are specialists in the diagnosis of clutch problems and would be happy to check your clutch free of charge.

Cam Belt - Book Online
Due to the fact that your cam belt is one of the hardest working and most important components of your cars engine and the fact that it is made of a rubber based compound it deteriorates through age and mileage. Thus it is essential to change your cam belt at the correct time (e.g. age or mileage) each manufacturer will have a prescribed change point which will be available for you to check in your owners handbook if you are unsure when your cam belt needs changing please contact our service department on 01622-699975 we have all the information ready to give you a quick answer. If the belt is not changed the end result could be a very high bill sometimes running into the thousands of pounds.
Replacing the timing belt is a complex operation by entrusting your vehicle to us you can be confident that the work ids completed by a fully qualified vehicle technician.

Your brakes will need to be regularly checked to ensure to ensure that they are operating correctly and safety .If you would like us to check your brakes we will be happy to do this free of charge.

Catalytic Converter - Book Online
Catalytic Converters were fitted to all cars from 1993 as a legal requirement and its job is to reduce the amount of co2 gas emitted from your cars exhaust pipe. There are several reasons as to why your car may fail an emissions test, so check with us before you replace the catalytic converter as the fault may be with your O2 sensor.
